The iPhone 4S offers no surprises as far as specifications are concerned. Most notably, the next iPhone will match Sony Ericsson's Xperia arc when it comes to the rear-facing camera. While the iPhone 4S lacks a dedicated camera button (the volume-up button can be used courtesy of iOS 5), the camera itself should provide great videos and images courtesy of a f/2.4 wide-aperture lens, 8-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, and 1080p HD video recording.
